Howdy,
Through the shadows, in the saddle, ready to battle...........28 sheriffs, hired guns, outlaws, redskin indians left farms, offices, banks and fields for a toastmasters gathering at Saint George's saloon.
It was a short but sweet evening, full of emotions........
Ka Mate! Ka Mate!
Ka Ora! Ka Ora!
Oh Yeah some braves were initiated to the Old Blacks' Haka dance (aren't we sexy girls?)
We shared laughters from the jokes of Luc Merven ("Lucky Luke"), Ravin and Ibrahim.
We conveyed to our club sponsor and great friend Phil our best wishes in his future endeavours.
We had good food,
The Prize for the best costume went to the Lareine Sisters
And we lived happily ever after,
A big THANKS goes to the President, Ricardo Freyneau who with Ms Hanoomanjee, the toastmaster of the evening, made of this event a success.
D.
